Member Impact Reports

With this release we have updated the Member Impact reports so that NobleHour members can have the same insights to their own data as NobleHour community administrators. With the new member Impact reports, members can:

  • Quickly view their volunteered and submitted hours and increasing economic impact across time.
  • Understand what submissions have been approved, are still pending, or have been denied.
  • Compare their efforts to the averages of other members in their communities, groups, volunteered-at opportunities, and favorite organizations.

Email Alerts

  • Improved text clarity and information presentation in emailed alerts

Navigation Improvements

  • Improved page load and header option click functionality
  • Successful community registration concludes on community home page

Community Administrator Reports

Treetop Commons has spent a better part of the summer re-imagining our NobleHour Community Administrator reports. Our primary goal was to ensure that community administrators have access and visibility to the information they require to guide their community’s NobleHour efforts. Highlights of the new reports are:
Improved time filtering.

Improved member, group, opportunity, and community partner filtering that provides instant, flexible access to the specific information you are looking for.

Quick understanding of total hours and impact, based on selected filters.

New Community Health Averages that allow you to understand, on average, how your community’s reported hours, active members, and submissions are performing from a member, group, opportunity, and community partner perspective.

  • Filtering allows you to compare community-wide average health measures to your filtered subset for the same time period. For example, you can understand how a particular group is performing compared to an average set by all the groups in your community.  Are they higher than average?  The same? Or lower than average?

Member, Group, Opportunity, and Community Partner Details that allow you to:

  • View, export, and print lists of filtered populations.
  • Sort and further filter returned lists by clicking on a column.
  • Drill down to individual record level details from any direction by clicking on the first cell in any row.

Quick insight to the status of submitted hours, based on selected filters.

Noble Impact® Calculation

Updates to the NobleHour volunteer Noble Impact® calculation - the dollar value expression of hours volunteered. Improvements and bug fixes with this release:

  • Automated the annual impact increase based on dollar values released by Independent Sector
  • Updated impact values for 2014, 2015, 2016 (2017 will be available in March 2018)
  • Corrected deleted hours and break time entries
  • Sped up impact community calculations
  • Fixed calculation value order of entry bug so that national and state calculations are correct by year

Track Hours

Tracking submitted hours for members had been a challenge in NobleHour 2.0. To significantly improve how NobleHour presents hour submission information, provide members the ability to manage submitted hours, and gives members insight into building impact, we are introducing the following updates to Track Hours:

  • Hours information is reorganized under a single Track tab
  • Hour content and hour submissions info is combined into a single view, organized by the opportunity you volunteered for
  • Submissions are clearly separated into those sent to the opportunity Host for verification and the possible multiple submissions contributed to Groups for credit so that hour totals make sense
  • Actions on hours are streamlined including viewing, reminding, editing, contributing, and deleting

Editing Hours

Editing hours is fixed and has been improved so that members can update and correct their hour submissions using the same Add Hours form they used to enter them with. Members can update the opportunity name and associated personal opportunity (only) contact information, update dates, change hour ranges, add reflections, and edit submission designations quickly and easily starting from their Track Hours page. All edited hours are resubmitted in a pending status so that moderators can approve the updates.

Adding Hours - The group contribution box checked by default

With this enhancement, when members reach Step 3 as they Add Hours, the option to contribute their hours to one or more groups is now checked by default. This will help encourage members to consider or remember to contribute their volunteer efforts not only to the Opportunity’s host organization but also to the groups they belong to, such as their class or clubs.

General Improvements

Track view and edit pages can be reached

  • Broken action links now work

Group privacy is supported

  • Private groups remain invisible to uninvited members

Members can submit logged hours later for an opportunity organizer to verify

Opportunity Contribution

This release we included a bug fix that allows opportunity administrators to contribute opportunities at any time to other organizations, communities, or groups who would like to post them to their own members. This applies to ongoing, previously created, and new opportunities.
